SSIDekick license agreement

Iceamp Labs · Effective 20 October 2026

SSIDekick is proprietary software. You may install it and use it, privately or at work, on devices you control. You may not copy, resell or redistribute it. Use its network tools only on networks you own or are allowed to test. The app is provided as is; its readings are measurements, not guarantees.

This agreement is between you and Iceamp Labs (“we”). By installing or using SSIDekick (“the app”) you accept it. If you don't, don't use the app. Where you got the app from Google Play, Google Play's terms of service also apply.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on Android devices that you own or control, for private or professional purposes. The app is licensed, not sold. Iceamp Labs keeps all rights, title and interest in the app, including its code, design, name and logo.

2. Restrictions

Except where the law gives you a right that can't be waived, you may not:

3. Using the network tools responsibly

SSIDekick includes tools that send traffic to other devices: LAN discovery, port checks, ping, traceroute, bandwidth and speed tests, and Wake-on-LAN. Use them only on networks and devices that you own or have permission to test, and in line with the law and the rules of your network. Bandwidth and speed tests can load a network and use mobile data. You are responsible for how you use the tools.

4. Paid features

Some features are, or may become, available only as a paid upgrade (“Pro”) or as a time-limited demo. Purchases are made through Google Play, under Google Play's payment and refund terms. A purchase gives you a license to the paid features under this agreement; it isn't a purchase of the software. We may change which features are free or paid in future versions, but a feature you have paid for won't be taken away from you in a later version without a refund or a replacement of equal value.

5. Measurements and warnings

Signal levels, speeds, latency, channel advice, certificate grades, IP-based country locations and cell watch warnings depend on the phone, the operating system, the network and third-party data. They are estimates to help you diagnose a network. They are not certified measurements, and they don't prove that a network is secure or insecure. A cell watch warning is an indication worth investigating, not evidence of an attack, and a missing warning doesn't mean you are safe.

6. Third-party services

Some tools use servers run by others, such as Cloudflare, Google, LibreSpeed server operators and beaconDB, as described in the privacy policy. We don't control those services and can't guarantee that they stay available.

7. Updates

We may release updates that add, change or remove features. This agreement covers updates unless an update comes with new terms.

8. No warranty

To the extent the law allows, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the app is free of errors or works without interruption. If you are a consumer, this doesn't limit the rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Iceamp Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damage, including lost data, lost profit, network outages or costs for data traffic, arising from use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for gross negligence, intent, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

This license ends automatically if you break these terms. When it ends you must stop using the app and uninstall it. Sections 2, 5, 8, 9 and 11 continue to apply.

11. Governing law

This agreement is governed by Swedish law, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are settled by Swedish courts. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of that country and may also bring a claim there.
